A phone call between the Palestinian president and his French counterpart

A phone call was made between the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, Friday evening, and French President Emmanuel Macron, to discuss the latest arrangements related to the holding of the International Peace Conference in New York, on September 22, with the aim of providing opportunities for his success and achieving his goals & nbsp;

& nbsp; With the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a large number of international coalition countries, to hold this conference, and for a broader international support for more international confessions in the State of Palestine, as well as taking irreversible measures, by ending the Israeli occupation, implementing a two -state solution, and to provide all forms of support, for the state of Palestine and its people, to build its institutions and implement reform programs. The Palestinian President also renewed the assertion of President Macron, his determination to implement the national reform program, the obligations and pledges presented by the State of Palestine, in a message sent to the presidency of the conference, on June 9, and including the conduct of the presidential and parliamentary elections, during the year 2026, after the end of the war, and the drafting of a temporary Palestinian constitution, within three months, according to which the election law is amended, to match the international obligations and the new status of the State of Palestine, and the principle of a state One, one law and one weapon, and work to take over the State of Palestine with its full responsibility in the Gaza Strip, and emphasize that there is no role for Hamas and it has to hand its weapons to power, because we do not want an armed state.
