“Emirates NBD” launches the fifth batch of “Rowad” program

Yesterday, Emirates NBD launched the fifth batch of the “Rowad” program to develop leadership skills for Emirati graduates, which was designed to accelerate the progress of the graduate citizens with high capabilities to administrative roles and thus executive.
The bank stated in a statement, that the program, which lasts for two years, ensures the acquisition of distinguished experience from participating in the bank’s strategic projects, in addition to its advantage in the mandate to work for 15 leading partner institutions.
He added that the participants also gain wide global experience by working for Emirates NBD offices and the offices of its mandate partners around the world, as well as training, performance management and guidance at a global level.
Iman Abdel Razzaq, CEO of Human Resources at the Emirates NBD Group, said: “After he became in his fifth year, the (Rowad) program has a strategic importance for the resettlement agenda and the wider growth strategy of Emirates NBD,” adding: “With the expansion of our global business, this program qualifies Emirati graduates to play leadership roles not only in the country, but also through the opportunities available through our growing international network in markets like Saudi Arabia Egypt, India and Turkey.
She pointed out that the “Rawad” program has achieved distinguished results since its inception, as almost all the participants were promoted to administrative positions before the usual time frame, and each batch of the program has maintained the gender balance in leadership positions by 50% for each of them, which enhances the bank’s commitment to developing various leadership competencies and achieving its long -term goals in empowering women in leadership positions.
It is noteworthy that the “Rowad” program, in addition to the “Bedaya” program, is the main pillar of Emirates NBD investment in developing young Emirati competencies.
