"Light circles" It illuminates the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy in the Mohammed bin Rashid Library until September 30

Dubai, September 21 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Library opened the exhibition “Circles of Light”, which celebrates the masterpieces of contemporary Arabic calligraphy and highlights its aesthetics as one of the most prominent and most important Islamic arts related to the Arab cultural identity, by displaying a set of exceptional linear paintings of the artist and calligrapher Taj Al -Sir Hassan, one of the most prominent pioneers of Arabic calligraphy in the Arab world, where the exhibition continues until September 30th in the Al -Khor exhibition in the library.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, stressed that the exhibition represents an important step towards highlighting the position of Arabic calligraphy as one of the pillars of the Arab and Islamic cultural heritage, and embodies the Foundation’s commitment to providing an inspiring environment that celebrates creativity and highlights its role as a bridge for civilization between East and West, noting that the exhibition constitutes a platform for inspiring new generations of artists, calligraphers and creators and encouraging them to explore New horizons for this art.
The exhibition provides a rich visual experience by displaying 26 artistic paintings that celebrate the world of letters and mix originality and the spirit of renewal, varying between innovative circular configurations with renewable geometric shapes such as squares and triangles, along with open panels that beats with movement and life, and highlights various lines such as the clear and clear diwani, copying and coffee in the artist’s style.
The exhibition includes paintings of Quranic verses, prophetic hadiths and works that embody the human and other human values inspired by the sayings of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, reflecting the depth of the spiritual and cultural message of Arabic calligraphy.
