Specialized workshops for the Emirates University in the state pavilion in Expo Osaka 2025

Osaka, on September 21 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates University, through its participation in the UAE pavilion at the Expo Osaka 2025 exhibition, strengthens its international presence as a pioneering research and academic center that keeps pace with the aspirations of the state towards global leadership in the fields of education, knowledge and innovation through a series of innovative interactive workshops that aim to enrich the experience of visitors to the wing.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al -Raisi, Director of the United Arab Emirates University, stressed that the university is happy with its participation in one of the main events organized by the UAE pavilion in Expo Osaka 2025, which focuses on highlighting the future of the palm tree, one of the important symbols in the history of the country.
He added that the university’s participation includes a series of events and lectures, which started today with a lecture on the hybridization in the palm tree, followed by a discussion session on the health and environmental benefits of palm trees and its role in achieving sustainability and using it as a source of alternative energy.
He pointed out that the university includes more than 35 researchers from various colleges, including the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, the College of Engineering, the College of Science, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, working to address a number of important issues related to palm trees.
His Excellency explained that the sessions will continue today and tomorrow, including a paragraph about the vital compounds in the palm tree, before concluding the activities by launching the palm research folder for the Emirates University, which reviews the most prominent scientific research for researchers and students, and highlights the university’s efforts to support the state’s commitment to the pillow in the field of palm trees and benefit from palm waste to achieve sustainability, in a way that serves the scientific and international community.
