Amna Al Ghurair Mosque consolidates its endowment mission with integrated Ramadan initiatives in Ajman

Ajman, March 20 / WAM / The Sheikha Amna bint Ahmed Al Ghurair Mosque in Ajman embodied its community presence during the holy month of Ramadan through a package of humanitarian and community initiatives that were implemented within the endowment of ongoing charity for the deceased, which reflects its message of consolidating the values ​​of giving and sustaining the humanitarian impact in society.

The “Blessing Tables” initiative topped the mosque’s Ramadan programmes, as daily Iftar tables were organized for those who were fasting in the vicinity of the mosque, benefiting about 16,250 people throughout the holy month, with an increase in the number of meals provided on Fridays to meet the needs of the workers category. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with a number of entities, including the Humaid Bin Rashid Charitable Foundation, the Al Ihsan Charitable Society, and the Charitable Works Authority, in addition to the “Virgo” company.

The mosque also launched the “Light in Our Hands” initiative, during which 1,000 Qur’an copies of Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi’s Qur’an were distributed, in cooperation with the Humaid Bin Rashid Center for Holy Qur’an Service, in a step aimed at strengthening worshipers’ connection to the Book of God during the holy month.

As part of the health initiatives, the mosque organized the “Pulse of Goodness” blood donation initiative, in cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Services and Research Center in Sharjah, affiliated with the Emirates Health Services Foundation, and with the participation of the Metro Medical Center, and it witnessed a remarkable turnout from worshipers, as the number of donors exceeded 60 donors.

The campaign included providing medical examinations, including measuring blood pressure and sugar levels, and Metro Medical Center also provided general health examinations for worshipers during the event, as part of enhancing health awareness among mosque-goers.

The initiatives also included the “Thank You” initiative, through which a number of volunteers were honored with symbolic gifts that included thank you cards, in appreciation of their efforts in supporting and organizing events.

These initiatives come within an integrated system through which Sheikha Amna Al Ghurair Mosque embodies its endowment mission and continues its role in serving the community during the holy month of Ramadan.
