The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the recognition stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the recognition of Britain, Australia, Canada and Portugal in the Palestinian state, which confirms the serious commitment from friendly countries to support the peace path, and pushing for a two -state solution based on international legitimacy decisions related".
The statement added: "The Kingdom is looking forward to the recognition of more countries in the State of Palestine, and its taking more positive steps, in a way that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the Palestinian people to live in peace on their land, and enables the Palestinian Authority to perform its duties towards a future that prevails in security, stability and prosperity for the Palestinian people"."
