Mohamed Al Sharqi receives the Secretary General of the Emirates Wrestling Federation and sees the union’s plans and achievements
Fujairah on September 23/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, briefed during his reception in his office at the Emiri Diwan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Secretary General of the Emirates Wrestling Federation, on the achievements of the Federation, its regional and international participation, and the season of the season in the upcoming wrestling championships of the federation.
During the meeting, His Highness got acquainted with the achievements and participation of the Emirate of Fujairah in the wrestling sport competitions by achieving 44 golds, 26 silver, and 52 bronze in the local championships during the year 2025 with the participation of more than 70 players from the emirate and with a prominent representation of the Fujairah clubs (Fujairah, Mardbah and Dibba).
His Highness stressed the need to pay attention to the development of wrestling sport, and to continue to organize regional and international championships that enhance its spread and attract athletes to achieve honorable results in its competitions.
His Highness pointed to the commitment of the Fujairah government to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah on the sports sector and to preserve the achievements made in various championships, and its role in strengthening and developing the sports sector system and keeping pace with the UAE vision in this field.
For his part, Sheikh Hamdan bin Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan stressed that the Emirate of Fujairah is a strategic balance that enhances the national wrestling system, thanking His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his support and follow -up to the plans and achievements of the Emirates Wrestling Federation.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
