“Cairo Film” signs a strategic cooperation agreement with "European cultural institutes" To support cinematic talents

The Cairo International Film Festival announced the signing of a high-level partnership agreement with the Union of European National Cultural Institutes, represented by the Italian Cultural Center in Cairo, within the European Cultural Program 2023-2027, to launch a professional workshop for Egyptian filmmakers from various governorates during the forty-sixth session of the festival, from 12 to 21 November 21 2025.
& nbsp; This qualitative partnership falls within the framework of the festival vision to enable local talents and strengthen cultural dialogue with Europe, believing that cinema is a bridge that crosses cultures and highlights the creativity of Egyptian youth. The Europeans, with the participation of ten filmmakers from Egyptian youth from the marginalized governorates, providing them with an integrated platform for developing their skills in the visual narration, production, and providing projects, in addition to refining their creative capabilities through direct contact with prestigious international cinematic experiences. Saying: & quot; We are pleased to continue our path in supporting young cinema makers, and enhancing their involvement with international experiences and various experiences through cooperation with the European Union and our partners from European cultural institutions .. We believe that the development of talents and building bridges of knowledge and artistic communication are essential to developing the Egyptian cinema industry, and consolidating its presence on the scene International & quot;. The festival offers a varied program of the first global and regional shows, industrial programs, and public events that celebrate cinematic creativity and enhance cultural exchange .. The forty -sixth session will be held, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, from 12 to 21 November 2025.
