Victory meets the people of Hadramout in the launch of the Arab Basketball Championship tomorrow

Dubai, September 24/ WAM/ The 37th edition of the Arab Basketball Clubs Championship will start tomorrow, which Al -Nasr Club will be hosted by Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall in Dubai and will continue until October 6 with the participation of 16 Arab teams, organized by the Arab Basketball Federation.
The opening day witnesses the holding of 4 games in the first round, where Kuwaiti Kuwait meets with the people of Tripoli, then Al -Nasr, the representative of the Emirates and the host of the championship, faces the Yemeni people of Hadramout, while the Kuwaiti Qadisiyah meets with the Syrian Homs, and the matches conclude with the Bahraini meeting with the Lebanese Anthony.
The 16 teams participating in 4 groups compete, and the first and second each group qualify for the round of 16, which starts on the first of October, to conclude the competitions with the final match on October 6.
Al -Nasr prepared to participate by contracting with the American Trabin Trapiro and the Canadian Eugenie Amori, in addition to his participation in the local federation Cup, which ended its first stage, leading his group.
The tournament is one of the oldest Arab competitions since its inception in 1978, where the Egyptian clubs bears the record in winning the title with 11 times, compared to 7 titles for Lebanese clubs, while Sharjah remains the only Emirati club crowned in the tournament in 2011 in the version hosted by the state.
