Sharjah .. The Islamic Forum discusses the intellectual contributions of Muslims in civilization and its contemporary applications

Sharjah, on September 24 / WAM / The work of the specialized scientific symposium organized by the Islamic Forum in Sharjah, under the title “Intellectual Contributions for Muslims in Civilization, and its Contemporary Applications”, concluded over two days at the forum headquarters, with the participation of a group of academics and thinkers from inside and outside the country.
In its final recommendations, the symposium stressed the importance of integrating efforts to revive the civilizational and cognitive role of Muslims in the modern era, stressing that the benefit from the Islamic cultural heritage must start from the consolidation of Sharjah’s position as an active center for preserving and spreading this legacy, in a way that enhances the cultural and scientific identity, and paves the way for renewing the scientific and cultural discourse based on linking Islamic intellectual origins to the contemporary reality.
The symposium considered that this renewal cannot succeed without adopting the scientific method that distinguished Muslim scholars, based on research, experience and objectivity, which is the same approach that enables the finding scientific and moral solutions to the current challenges, and the recommendations stressed that this integrated trend is a solid basis for achieving sustainable development, where the Islamic intellectual heritage is a practical source of inspiration to build a different future in a different future in a different future The fields, by linking science and values, enhancing a culture of dialogue, and investing in education and scientific research as support for any real renaissance.
