Hamid bin Rashid looks at the results of the family’s income and spending in Ajman

Ajman, on September 24 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al -Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, briefed the results of the family’s income and spending survey in Ajman for the year 2024 and the first half of 2025, through a detailed presentation prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center.
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al -Nuaimi stressed that the results of the survey are a pivotal tool for understanding the living, social and economic reality, and it represents an important basis for developing development plans, which enhances the quality of life and supports the sustainable development process in the emirate.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman praised the efforts made by the Ajman Center for Statistics to prepare studies and surveys, to provide comprehensive data that reflects various social and economic aspects in the emirate, in a way that enhances the development of services, and guarantees meeting the needs of citizens and raises their standard of living.
The survey aims to provide accurate data on income patterns and consumption in the emirate, enabling decision makers to draw balanced development policies, and to enhance the initiatives of improving the standard of living and the quality of life for families in the emirate of Ajman during the coming years.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman listened to a full explanation about the results of the survey provided by Dr. Hajar Al -Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistical Center, which included comprehensive analyzes of the quality of life, the levels of social and economic welfare in the emirate, and the details of spending on the education and health sectors, as well as defining the self -sufficiency line for families, patterns of consumption and living customs of the family in Ajman.
The presentation included in -depth results on the demographic characteristics of families in the emirate, living levels, income sources, and daily life costs, in addition to the classification of families according to different groups, while highlighting the needs of some special cases of citizenship families, and offering practical proposals to enhance the culture of savings and the development of financial investment.
The survey concluded with a set of recommendations that focused on strengthening social support networks, foremost of which is the empowerment of limited income families, and ensuring that they obtain their basic needs, and the recommendations also stressed the motivation of citizenship families to start special economic projects, by providing incentives and financing programs that support their active participation in the labor market.
It is noteworthy that the survey is implemented at the state level in cooperation between the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics and local statistical centers, and includes citizenship and non -citizenship families, in addition to collective families, and is considered one of the most prominent national surveys that provide a reliable database on living standards and social welfare in various segments of society, which makes it an essential reference for formulating national development policies.
On the relevant level, His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al -Nuaimi reviewed the marriage and divorce report for the year 2024 and the first half of 2025, which showed a remarkable increase in the number of marriage contracts in exchange for a decrease in divorce rates, which is considered a positive indication of the stability of the family and societal fabric in the emirate.
