المملكة: Urgent – Implementation of a discretionary death sentence against a citizen for committing terrorist crimes and targeting security personnel

Issued and The Ministry of Interior today issued a statement regarding the implementation of a discretionary death sentence against the citizen Saud bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Faraj, for committing terrorist crimes, joining an external terrorist organization, and establishing a terrorist cell inside the Kingdom that seeks to kill security personnel, support and finance terrorist acts, harbor its members, manufacture explosives, and possess weapons.

The Interior Ministry’s statement said:
"Saud bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Faraj – a Saudi national – committed Terrorist crimeswhich included joining an external terrorist organization, establishing a terrorist cell inside the Kingdom seeking to kill security personnel, supporting and financing terrorist acts, harboring its members, manufacturing explosives, and possessing weaponsCrimes, and by referring him to the competent court
A ruling was issued against him establishing what was attributed to him and killing him as a discretionary punishment, and the ruling became final
after his appeal and then upholding it from the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by Sharia
The sentence of death as a discretionary punishment was implemented against Saud bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Faraj – Saudi
Nationality – on Wednesday 10/13/1447 AH corresponding to 04/01/2026 AD in the Eastern Region .
And the Ministry of the Interior announces this to confirm to everyone the keenness of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to establish security, achieve justice, and implement the provisions of Islamic Sharia with regard to everyone who assaults those who are safe, and violates their right to life and security, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do such a thing, that legal punishment will be his fate."
