80% completion of rain collection in Ajman

The Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman confirmed that the emirate is undergoing a recovery phase from the effects of the recent weather condition, with more than 80% of the work of withdrawing and draining rainwater collections completed, and field efforts continuing at an accelerated pace to fully complete the treatment.
The department explained to Emirates Today that its field teams continue to work around the clock since the beginning of the rainy situation, within a flexible and comprehensive proactive plan to deal with weather conditions, before, during and after the rain, which contributed to the speed of response and immediate dealing with reports and field cases.
She indicated that the two field teams, “Ghaith” and “Rased,” and the support teams, in addition to the business continuity teams, are continuing their intensive work and their deployment in various regions of the emirate, to carry out water collection and drainage operations, and to ensure the readiness and efficiency of pumps and drainage networks, in addition to following up on comments received from the public.
She stressed that work has not stopped around the clock from the first moment of the rain until now, as cadres continue their field presence continuously to ensure accelerating the pace of completion, reducing the effects of the weather condition and achieving a full recovery as soon as possible.
