Sharjah Police overthrew the electronic fraud network and reveals the phantom rental mask by seizing 13 accused

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Investigations of Sharjah Police arrested a neurotic formation consisting of 13 people of Asian nationality, who pursued real estate fraud through what is known as “fake rents”, through an organized electronic network targeting the victims with a tight plan that included seven major stages, began to publish fake advertisements, then communicate with the victims, coordinate field meetings, followed by receiving financial Arabis And the signing of fake contracts, ending with the escape of fraudsters and transferring money outside the state.

The overthrow of the gang came under the name “Illusion of Illusion”, after accurate monitoring and constant follow -up, which culminated in the arrest of all the elements of the network, and to bring them to justice.

Brigadier Omar Ahmed Boualzoud – Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Security and Ports of Sharjah Police – stressed that the neurotic formation was characterized by a tight organization and specific roles sharing between its members, but the efficiency of the criminal investigations and their high experiences and the advanced human and technical capabilities that Sharjah Police possesses and appreciated his movements and overthrowing him, in advance of his thanks and appreciation for the work teams. On the details of the incident, Colonel Dr. Khalifa Bhahi – Director of the Criminal Investigations and Investigations Directorate in Sharjah Police – explained that a report was received from one of the victims reporting that she was fraud after she saw an advertisement through one of the websites specialized in real estate promotion, as she contacted the advertiser, then went to inspect the apartment that she wanted to rent, then paid the amount of the deposit, and signed the required papers, However, the defendant then escaped, and withholding the victim’s number from communication.


Colonel Dr. Khalifa Bhahi- Director of the Criminal Investigation and Investigations Directorate at Sharjah Police- pointed out that the gang, despite its keenness to hide its effects through studied movements and destroy the phone cards used after each operation, but the efficiency of the investigations teams and the advanced digital systems and accurate experiences in monitoring and analysis contributed to tracking the gang activity and seizing its members one by one.

The General Command of Sharjah Police calls on members of society to the need to verify the validity of real estate advertisements published through websites and social media platforms, and to ensure the reliability of the declared bodies before entering into any financial transactions, and also stressed the importance of refraining from transferring or delivering any amounts or signing contracts before verifying the credibility of the offers and the authorities that owe them, stressing that societal awareness represents the first defense line, and the basic pillar in the face of such Crimes; To protect individuals from their dangers.
