The conclusion of a jury interview tour "Million poet" Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, September 24 / WAM / The jury of the “Poet of the Million” program concluded the poets ’interviews in Abu Dhabi, as part of the twelfth season rounds organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority under the slogan“ Our Poem One ”.
The fifth and final Abu Dhabi tour that was held at the Al -Raha Beach Theater on September 22 and 23 witnessed the presence of 104 poets, including 6 poets, who came from 17 countries.
The tour witnessed a remarkable and brilliant presence of poets at distinguished levels, as they were keen to persevere and seek excellence, especially since a large number of them were among the participants in the previous seasons of the program.
The participants presented distinctive poetic texts, during which three poets were able to obtain the gold card that qualified them directly to the hundred stage, in preparation for choosing the list of 48 who will continue the competition for competition in direct episodes.
By adding the poets who participated from Bahrain and Tunisia, the number of poets of poets that the committee met along the tours increased to 19 nationalities, as the total participants reached more than 959 poets, including 20 poets, and 15 poets, including gold cards.
The Riyadh tour of 473 poets, and Kuwait 192 poets attracted, while Oman witnessed the participation of 110 poets and 80 poets, all the way to the closing tour of Abu Dhabi.
The jury is preparing to hold its meetings to choose the list of the hundred poets, who will be subject to comprehensive editorial and oral tests, to qualify 48 poets to the direct episodes that start from the Al -Raha Beach Theater in Abu Dhabi in October, where the competition will continue for the title of “Poet of the Million” and the burner and win the valuable prizes allocated to the first centers.
