Abu Dhabi will host the 8th International Conference on the Radiation Prevention System next October

Abu Dhabi, September 26 / WAM / The Federal Nuclear Control Authority announced the hosting of the eighth international conference on the radiation prevention system in the capital, Abu Dhabi, from 7 to 9 October, in cooperation with the International Committee for Radiation Prevention.
The conference brings together approximately 500 experts and researchers from all over the world, which makes it one of the largest international gatherings devoted to radiation prevention. This is the second time that the UAE has hosts this high -level international conference, which confirms the growing role of the state in the field of nuclear safety and radiation prevention.
The conference will be held this year under the title “Promotion of Radiation Prevention: Innovation, Integrity and Sustainability”. Experts discuss various topics such as medical, industrial, environmental, security and technological applications and their contributions to radiation prevention efforts.
The conference includes for three days specialized sessions covering the health effects of radiation, measurement of doses, radiological protection ethics, and their applications in the fields of medicine, industry and the environment.
The most prominent sessions include discussion sessions on radiothection in space exploration, artificial intelligence in medical imaging, treatments using protons and heavy ions techniques, and radiation use justifications.
These discussions allow the participants in -depth visions about the latest developments and practical applications that constitute the future of radiological prevention around the world.
Christer Victoron, Director General of the Federal Nuclear Control Authority, said that hosting the eighth international conference on the radiation prevention system for the second time reflects the firm commitment of the UAE to enhance global cooperation in the field of radiological prevention, stressing that the effective national infrastructure, supported by strategic partnerships and innovative programs, makes the UAE a model to follow in ensuring the safe and peaceful use of nuclear applications and technologies And radiation.
