Abdullah bin Zayed stresses during his meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister the need to end the war in Gaza

On the sidelines of the work of the current session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, the current regional developments and the efforts of the international community were discussed to end the war in the Gaza Strip. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the necessity of ending the bloody war in the Gaza Strip, reaching a permanent and sustainable ceasefire, avoiding more losses in lives, and putting an end to the crisis and tragic conditions experienced by civilians in the Gaza Strip.
His Highness affirmed the UAE’s support for the efforts of the international community aimed at release all hostages and detainees, stressing at the same time the importance of concerted international efforts to address extremism and terrorism in all its forms and forms, and to protect all the lives of civilians.
His Highness also pointed out that the tragic conditions experienced by civilians in the Gaza Strip require all possible efforts to introduce humanitarian aid without obstacles and in a sustainable way.
His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s steadfast approach to supporting all efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive peace based on a “two -state solution”, in a way that contributes to meeting the aspirations of the Palestinian and Israeli peoples and the peoples of all the region to a future that prevails in security and sustainable stability, pointing to the importance of upholding the values of tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood in the region, in order to achieve the aspirations of their peoples in security, stability, prosperity and sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, and the UAE ambassador to the State of Israel, Muhammad Mahmoud Al Khaja.
