“Google” allows the return of sites and influencers “Al -Mahjoubin” to its platform again

Google has admitted earlier this month that the control policies it imposed took place at an explicit request from the administration of President Joe Biden, and the company now says it will allow any content maker that has been subscribed to this reason to return to YouTube.
This is a tremendous victory for freedom of expression, and acknowledging that those who objected to the government’s bullying against technology companies were right from the beginning.
The new policy was announced in response to an inquiry from the Chairman of the Judicial Committee in the House of Representatives, Jim Jordan, who asked Google some data about the supervision decisions taken by the company during the Biden period.
In response, the company “Alphabet”, the parent company of Google, said in a statement: “The senior officials of the Biden Administration, including White House officials, conducted repeated and continuous contacts with (Alphabet) and pressed them regarding some of the content created by users and related to the Koruna and which did not violate its policies. While the company continued to develop its policies and implement it independently, the Biden administration officials continued to pressure the company to remove the violating content created by users.
The “Alphabet” statement accused the Biden administration of being “a political climate through which it seeks to influence what the platforms do based on its concerns about the misleading information.”
Alphabet indicates that she has already reviewed its policies related to the integrity of the elections, which led to the removal of content from YouTube, and with this recognition similar to the damage caused by Corona’s policy, YouTube now welcome all content makers who were separated according to these policies, by returning to the platform.
And in order not to think that this means the return of a group of the theorists of the conspiracy obsessive, perhaps the old viewers remember the site of the newspaper “The Hill”, which was previously suspended for a week of allegedly violating a base that “YouTube” now admits its mistake.
We were informed in March 2022 that we violated the integrity of the elections by publishing false information about the 2020 elections, because we showed video footage in the program for the candidate at the time Donald Trump saying that the elections were stolen. I did not say that the elections were stolen, but we reported the fact that Trump said it. And imagine how strange is, according to the previous YouTube policy, they were unable to distinguish between Trump’s saying of something, and a news site publishes his saying.
My colleagues and I spoke at the time, Ryan Grimm and Kim Eversen, about what happened to us after we spent a period of suspension for a week.
Now, after more than three years, I do not blame YouTube a lot for this type of matters, although he was wrong and crazy. We now know that this platform, in addition to “Twitter”, “X”, “Facebook”, and others, has faced unimaginable pressure to impose censorship on the discourse that contradicts the Biden administration’s viewpoint, especially with regard to the Korona and 2020 elections.
This was a pressure on these companies, which is the term that we use to describe government figures who are trying to pressure companies to take action and this was a mistake.
Of course, many in the main media have become very concerned about the pressure on companies, as they are concerned that the Trump administration pressure private media companies, to do exactly what the Biden administration did.
For example, the American journalist, Jake Taber, was responding to Jimmy Kimmel temporarily stopping the broadcast, describing it as “a direct violation of the government for freedom of expression, which I saw in my life almost.”
Now, clearly, I agree that pressure on companies is a bad problem, and I think they should have been away from the Kimmel issue, but let us not pretend that this is the first time that this matter has all occurred. Thanks to the pressure from the federal government when it was under the administration of Democrats, the giant social media companies practiced widespread control, but the situation has now turned, and this is also a mistake.
