“Hamdan for Medical and Educational Sciences” begins arbitration of the “innovators 2025” competition

The Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences launched the arbitration of the “Innovators 2025” competition, in its eighth session, which continues its mission in promoting the culture of innovation and encouraging young people to transform their creative ideas into practical projects that contribute to community service and promote sustainability.

Arbitration sessions were launched with the participation of a group of experts and specialists from members of the arbitration committees.

The number of teams registered in the initial stage reached 160 teams, including 80 teams, the conditions of participation, an increase of 70% over the previous session.

The executive director of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, Dr. Khalifa Al -Suwaidi, said that the competition has today become a firm national window to discover talents and refine creative capabilities among young people, and it constitutes an integrated journey that starts from crystallizing the idea to its development as an applicable practical project.

He added that «the growing numbers of posts that we see for year after another confirms the community’s confidence in the institution and its mission, and we are committed to providing all forms of support to young innovators, to be an effective part of building the knowledge economy and enhancing the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation».

Arbitration operations include project evaluation according to accurate criteria that take into account the level of creativity, the ability of application, and the effect of innovation in community service.

This stage will be crowned with the announcement of the teams that qualify for the final stage, in preparation for the official honoring ceremony, which the Foundation will hold early next year.
