Fujairah Martial Arts Club leads the UAE Cup for Fencing

Dubai, September 29/WAM/The Fujairah Martial Arts Club crowned the first place in the overall ranking of the Emirates First Cup for Fencing for the age groups under 10, 12, 14 and 20 years, which opened the new local season and witnessed record participation that exceeded 240 players and players from various state clubs and a number of Gulf teams, in the Al -Mazhar Sports Hall in Dubai. The Fujairah Martial Arts Club won 18 gold medals with the overall ranking table, while the MKFA Academy came second with two gold medals.

The Sharjah Women Sports Clubs, Sharjah Sports, Abu Dhabi for Al -Mabazar, and Saudi Al -Nasr shared the third place with a gold medal for each of them.

The inclusion of small age groups (under 10, 12 and 14 years) comes within the UAE Fencing Union plan aimed at expanding practitioners and discovering promising talents from an early age.

The crowning ceremony of the winners after the conclusion of the competitions was witnessed by Musa Al -Balushi, Latifa Al -Hosani and Ali Al -Kindi, members of the Board of Directors of the Fencing Federation, in the presence of Hamda Al -Qubaisi, member of the Abu Dhabi Al -Banat Club.

This tournament is the first among ten local tournaments included in the Federation’s agenda for the sports season 2025-2026, at a time when the national team is preparing to run more than 35 international participation during the season, which reflects the ambition of the Federation in developing the game and enhancing its presence at all levels.
