Kuwaiti media, Halima Boland, commented on the controversy raised by the Egyptian artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz’s disregard for her handshake, during their participation in the activities of the 16th session of the Arab Satellite TV Festival in Cairo.

Poland said in press statements that Abdel Aziz “did not intend to ignore, and perhaps he did not notice,” stressing that she dealt with the situation with a sporting spirit and a smile, adding: “I am a fan of Egyptian art, and I have all the gratitude to the Egyptian audience.”

Poland expressed her happiness for receiving the Excellence Award as the best media and influencing social media platforms in the Gulf during the festival.

The details of the incident are due to an interview with Boland with Abdel Aziz, and after she ended her hand to shake hands, but he left the place quickly, which sparked a wave of controversy on social media.
