"Air Arabia" Its first Airbus A320neo aircraft receives

Sharjah, on September 29/ WAM/ Air Arabia announced that it has received its first Airbus A320neo aircraft in a move that represents the beginning of its receipt of a 120 -aircraft of the A320 family that the company signed with Airbus in 2019.

This step reflects the company’s commitment to its long -term strategic vision that aims to expand its network and enhance more efficient and sustainable operations, as well as consolidate its presence in the main markets.

The company received its new plane in a special ceremony held at Sharjah International Airport in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Air Arabia”, Sheikh Khalid bin Essam Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Department, His Excellency Ali Salem Al -Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority, and Adel Al -Ali, CEO of “Arab Air”, along with a number of directors of departments in the airline, airport and the relevant sectors.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Thani said: “The receipt of the first A320neo plane is part of our orders with Airbus an important step towards strengthening the current company’s fleet and developing its operational operations. The joining of these modern aircraft reflects our continuous commitment to operational efficiency, innovation and sustainability while maintaining our promise to provide an experiment with the added value to all our customers.”

For his part, Adel Al -Ali said that the “Arab Air” fleet has contributed over the years to support the management of the active and reliable operations of the company and provide a distinct travel experience for travelers. The addition of the A320NEO model to the current fleet is an important step in promoting operational performance and expanding the scope of our operations to new markets. This event comes today within the framework of our commitment to adopt the latest technologies to raise the efficiency of our operations in all fields.
