Organized by Film Authority Under the slogan “Cinema .. The Art of Place”, the Film Criticism Forum is launched with its second station this year in Al -Qatif Governorate , on October 2, 2025, which comes within a series of forums organized by the authority on the Kingdom. Meaning to strengthen Film criticism , and expanding the circle of cultural knowledge dialogue. To present a diverse scientific and critical content that combines specialized discussions, presentations and creative dialogues, and aims to enrich the dialogue with different titles such as Saudi cinema: from Al -Ahwash to Aramco screens and presentations including Kairouan in the cinema, and creativity outside the centers: cinema in Saudi cities, and the program also includes a paragraph for a screening of the movie “Rish" It is followed by a discussion session on the place between the real and the imagined. Cultural, enabling those interested in criticism and filmmaking in the Kingdom, through a deep critical content that contributes to enhancing visual awareness and artistic analysis, and dismantling cinematic discourse; This reflects the commitment of the commission to consolidate the values of critical movement and deepen the relationship between cinema and the public.
