Saud bin Saqr receives Italian visual artist Lorenzo Quinn

Ras Al Khaimah, 4 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received at His Highness’s Palace in Saqr Bin Mohammed City, today, the Italian visual artist Lorenzo Quinn, the son of the late international artist Anthony Quinn.

His Highness welcomed the Italian artist, stressing the importance of art in promoting the values ​​of love and peace among peoples, and the role of visual arts in building bridges of cultural and civilizational communication between societies.

His Highness praised the humanitarian messages carried by Lorenzo Quinn’s works, which touch on the concepts of unity, tolerance, peace and sustainability, and reflect an artistic vision that promotes common human values.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the artist’s most prominent works and artistic projects, which are in line with global trends supporting environmental protection and enhancing awareness of sustainability issues.
