The head of the “Chamber” discusses with the Azerbaijani ambassador investment and trade exchange opportunities

Samir Abdullah Nass, President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the importance of strengthening economic and commercial relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Azerbaijan, by expanding the areas of joint cooperation in various sectors that serve the interests of the two countries and keep pace with their future aspirations, this came during his reception to His Excellency Mr. Shaheen Abdel -Lev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Bahrain and residing in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Yaqoub Al -Awadi, Member of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Atef Al -Khaja, CEO of the Chamber.

Nass explained that the Bahrain Chamber is keen to push bilateral relations towards wider horizons, by encouraging economic partnerships and intensifying cooperation in promising fields, stressing the importance of organizing direct meetings between businessmen and investors from both sides to explore more opportunities for cooperation and investment.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Shaheen Abdel -Lev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Bahrain and resident of Riyadh, expressed his pride in the durability of the existing relations between Bahrain and Azerbaijan, stressing his country’s aspiration to expand the areas of economic cooperation with the Kingdom.

He praised the role of the Bahrain Chamber and its continuous efforts in strengthening economic ties between Bahrain and sister and friendly countries, stressing his desire to push towards organizing common economic flags and the exchange of commercial delegations, which contributes to increasing the volume of trade exchange, and opens new horizons for investors to explore promising opportunities in the Azerbaijani market.
