The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Industry reviews plans to support Bahraini women

The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Industry and Trade held its third periodic meeting for the year 2025 headed by Mr. Abdulaziz Al -Ashraf, Assistant Undersecretary for Control and Resources at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The committee reviewed a number of initiatives aimed at strengthening a comprehensive and stimulating work environment, with a focus on the supportive initiatives of the progress of Bahraini women and the consolidation of the standards of gender balance, in line with the goals of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women (2025 – 2026), and the committee’s work plan was discussed and discussed to prepare and participate in the award of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa to present Bahraini women.

Al -Ashraf stated that the launch of the award works reflects the insightful vision and the great interest that Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the presumption of the great king of the country, the head of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, to advance Bahraini women in various sectors.

As part of its endeavor to enhance institutional excellence, the committee discussed ways to continue developing the capabilities of its affiliations, in line with the national trends aimed at continuing to enable human cadres and develop their capabilities, and support the process of comprehensive administrative and institutional development.
