6.4 % growth in the exports of Chinese software industry on an annual basis
BEIJING, October 3/ WAM/ The software and information technology services industry in China recorded a dual -number growth on an annual basis in terms of revenues and profits during the first eight months of 2025.
Official data issued by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that the collected revenue for industry amounted to 9.64 trillion yuan “about 1.36 trillion US dollars”, during the period between January and August, an increase of 12.6% on an annual basis.
The data revealed that the total number of industry’s profits increased by 13 % to 1.32 trillion yuan.
Industry exports maintained a rise during the aforementioned period, registering a growth of 6.4 % on an annual basis to reach $ 40.4 billion.
Detailed data showed that during the first eight months of this year, the total revenues of the sub -sector of IT services maintained a double number 13.7 % on an annual basis to reach 6.59 trillion yuan, which represents 68.4 % of the entire industry revenue.
The total revenue for cloud computing services and huge data increased, and the design of integrated circles at 13.3% and 17.7%, respectively compared to the same period in 2024.
