Abu Dhabi, October 3/ WAM/ His Excellency the scholar Abdullah bin Bey, Chairman of the Emirates Sharia Fatwa Council, affirmed that the palm tree has always been a symbol of giving in the Arab and Islamic heritage, and it was likened to the believer in the Prophet’s Hadith, noting that the UAE continued the approach of the founding leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul” in caring for palm trees and dates, where he turned the desert to the desert.
