Abu Dhabi, April 15 / WAM / The ADNOC Professional League competitions until the 22nd round are witnessing a strong offensive struggle between a number of the most prominent strikers and playmakers in the competition, in light of the close levels and diversity of scoring sources between the clubs, which reflects the technical and competitive strength that the league enjoys in the current season.
Al Ain striker Kodjo Laba tops the list of scorers with 21 goals, continuing his continuous presence at the top of the standings, confirming his influential role in the front line of his team, which is at the top of the competition, while behind him is Omar Kharbin, the Al Wahda player, with 16 goals, in a season in which he presents remarkable levels of attacking.
Tariq Tisodale, the Khor Fakkan striker, and Youri Cesar, the Shabab Al-Ahly player, occupy third place with 10 goals each, while Nabil Fekir, the Al-Jazira player, comes in fifth place with 9 goals.
Karim Al-Barkawi, the Al Dhafra striker, and Shahryar Moganlou, the Kalba player, scored 8 goals each, while the list of players who scored 7 goals included several names, including Simon Panza from Al Jazira, Walid Azaro, the Ajman striker, and Youssef Nyakati, the Baniyas striker, which reflects the attacking strength of a large number of teams.
At the level of playmaking, Dusan Tadic, the Al Wahda player, tops the list of most chances created with 77 chances, in addition to 9 assists, confirming his active presence on the offensive side of his team, followed by Alejandro Romero, the Al Ain player, with 66 chances and 7 assists, then Nicolas Jimenez, the Al Wasl player, with 52 chances and 7 assists.
According to the UAE Professional League, the scoring contribution figures “Goals + Assists” revealed that Kodjo Laba continues to top the list with 21 goals and one assist, ahead of Omar Kharbin, who came second with 16 goals and two assists.
Three players came in third place with 13 goalscoring contributions: Tariq Tisodali, the Khor Fakkan player, Youri Cesar, the Shabab Al-Ahly player, and Matias Palacios, the Al Ain player. Tisodali and Cesar scored 10 goals each, while Palacios scored 7 goals and made 6 assists.
In sixth place, Nabil Fekir, the Al Jazira player, comes with 12 contributions, followed by Alejandro Romero, the Al Ain player, and Nicolas Jimenez, the Al Wasl player, with 11 contributions each, in light of the prominent role they play in creating opportunities in addition to scoring.
