UNRWA welcomes a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and calls for a ban on it
The Commissioner -General called on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees ( UNRWA ) Philip Lazarini to the release of all hostages from Gaza and Palestinian detainees; Lifting the siege, lifting the ban on (UNRWA), lifting all restrictions on regular humanitarian aid and on a large scale, stopping the bombing throughout the Gaza Strip and reaching a permanent ceasefire." target ="_Blank"> The permanent ceasefire in Gaza is a rare and welcome opportunity and paved the way for a long -term solution to end the decades -long conflict. "This step represents a ray of rare hope that allows the United Nations, including UNRWA, to address starvation and the suffering of more than two million in an indescribable way". Responsible for the atrocities committed in Gaza since the beginning of the war.
