Dibba Municipality participates in a conference in Turkey
Konya, October 6/ WAM/ Dibba municipality participated in the activities of the international conference held in the Turkish city of Konya under the slogan “Promotion of World Peace: Local Force and Regional Sustainability”.
The conference, which was held with a joint organization between the United Cities Organization and local departments – the Middle East branch and West Asia and the Greater Konya Municipality, witnessed a wide participation of representatives of local departments in member states, as well as a number of experts and partners from various sectors.
His Excellency Eng. Hassan Salem Al -Yamahi, Director of Dibba Municipality, presented an intervention within a high -level discussion episode that dealt with food security in which he reviewed the role of the UAE in strengthening the food security system through adopting various national strategies, policies and initiatives to ensure the flexibility and sustainability of supply chains, especially in times of crisis and disasters.
