"Sharjah Media" Participate in an exhibition "MIPCOM 2025" In Cannes, France

Sharjah, 8 October / WAM / Sharjah Media City “Shams” is participating in the International Exhibition for Television and Entertainment Content “MIPCOM 2024”, which is being held in the French city of Cannes during the period from 13 to 16 October, with the participation of an elite group of international institutions and companies working in the fields of media production and the entertainment industry.

During its participation, Shams showcases its latest upcoming media projects, most notably the “Shams Studios” project, which constitutes an integrated platform for film and television production, with its advanced infrastructure, modern technologies, and comprehensive production services that make it easier for companies and institutions to implement their creative work in a professional environment within the Emirate of Sharjah.

Rashid Abdullah Al-Obed, Director General of Sharjah Media City (Shams), said that participation in the “Mipcom 2025” exhibition comes within our strategy aimed at enhancing Sharjah’s presence on the map of global media production and highlighting the great capabilities that the emirate possesses in this vital sector.

He added: Through this participation, we seek to open new horizons for cooperation with international companies and institutions and attract productive projects that contribute to supporting the emirate’s creative economy, stressing Shams’ keenness to be an attractive center for content makers and creators from all over the world.

The MIPCOM exhibition is considered one of the most prominent global platforms in the television and entertainment content industry, as it brings together under its umbrella the major producing and distributing companies and decision-makers in this sector.
