Opening of the first edition of "Middle East Cosmetics Exhibition" In Sharjah

Sharjah, 8 October / WAM / The activities of the first edition of the “Middle East Cosmetics Exhibition 2025” were launched today at the Expo Center Sharjah, which is organized by the Center with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of more than 200 local and international brands specializing in the world of beauty, creativity and innovation, and continues until October 12.

The events were opened by His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Expo Center Sharjah, in the presence of His Excellency Walid Abdul Rahman Bukhatir, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, and a number of members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Muhammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Chamber, His Excellency Saif Muhammad Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, and a number of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the cosmetics industry and trade sector. The attendees toured the exhibition’s pavilions, which extended over an exhibition area of ​​more than 2,000 square meters, where they listened to a detailed explanation from the exhibitors about their latest innovations and products, which number more than 5,000 products covering various fields of beauty and personal care.

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais stressed that the Chamber’s support for the “Middle East Cosmetics Exhibition” contributes to consolidating the position of Sharjah and the UAE and its global leadership in the exhibition sector, which constitutes a major driver that supports the country’s economic diversification goals. He explained that the exhibition is distinguished by being a gateway to one of the fastest growing cosmetics markets in the world, compared to expectations of the arrival of the size of the cosmetics and personal care products market in the Middle East region. and Africa to $28.30 billion by 2028.

For his part, His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa said that the exhibition is a platform for business and a distinguished destination for beauty lovers by displaying the most luxurious products and the latest innovations from the largest beauty houses in the world to meet the aspirations of experts and consumers alike, adding that the exhibition in its first edition is designed to be an international forum that brings together for the first time under one roof the largest companies and the most prominent innovators and designers from various parts of the world to provide a business environment. The exhibition hosts more than 8 specialized sectors covering all aspects of the cosmetics industry, with exhibits covering the needs of those interested in beauty, ranging from cosmetics, skin and hair care, to perfumes and organic products.

The exhibition recorded a remarkable presence of Emirati brands and talents through a platform launched by the Sharjah Chamber with the aim of supporting and empowering entrepreneurs in the beauty sector, embodying one of its main goals of supporting local creators and highlighting their pioneering projects in this sector.
