Give Donald Trump the Nobel Peace Prize. He deserves it

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared on social media an artificial intelligence-generated photo of US President Donald Trump wearing a Nobel Peace Prize medal around his neck.

Netanyahu wrote in his post on the “X” platform: “Give Donald Trump the Nobel Peace Prize.. He deserves it!”

This comes hours after it was announced that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas, under American sponsorship and Qatari, Egyptian and Turkish mediation, for a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of hostages, paving the way for an end to the war that has been ongoing for two years.

Trump told the delegations attending the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly: “Everyone says I should get the Nobel Peace Prize.”

He also stated last month that denying him this award would be a “huge insult” to America.

This year, 338 people or entities were nominated for the award, the winner of which will be announced on Friday in Oslo.
