Abu Dhabi Customs and Maersk cooperate to facilitate trade

London, October 10 / WAM / Abu Dhabi Customs and Maersk International Trade and Customs Consulting signed a strategic cooperation agreement yesterday, aiming to enhance border management and the flexibility of supply chains, and raise the efficiency and competitiveness of the trade and logistics system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

This strategic cooperation combines the vision of Abu Dhabi Customs in providing integrated smart solutions that support the hidden customs system, and Maersk’s global experience in the fields of innovation in trade and border management, as it aims to design and implement new generation solutions to modernize customs work, including enhancing coordinated border management, developing an innovative model for the “trusted digital trade corridor,” and establishing a comprehensive framework for customs compliance for brokers.
