Etihad Airways launches flights to Kabul next December

Etihad Airways announced today the launch of its flights to Kabul, Afghanistan, starting next December 18.
Etihad Airways will operate three weekly flights on the Airbus A320 aircraft, which includes eight seats in business class and 150 seats in economy class.
Kabul joins Etihad Airways’ rapidly growing network, becoming the 31st new destination announced this year, reflecting the airline’s continued investment in strategic markets in the Middle East and South Asia.
This service will support trade, investment and cultural exchange between the two countries, while facilitating the travel of the large Afghan community across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Australia, Europe and the United States.
Antonualdo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said that these flights will meet strong travel demand, support trade and investment flows, and reconnect families and communities.
It is noteworthy that the number of passengers on board Etihad Airways has increased by more than 80% since 2022, and the company is working to achieve its goal of transporting 38 million passengers annually by 2030.
