She did not marry and adopted two children.. A famous actress has passed away!

American actress Diane Keaton, who won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1978 for her role in the movie “Annie Hall,” died in California at the age of 79, according to what a family spokesman announced to People magazine, without revealing the cause of death.

Keaton began her film career in 1970 with the movie “Lovers and Other Strangers,” and participated in the “Godfather” series of films as Al Pacino’s wife. She also collaborated for many years with director Woody Allen, and was his muse and favorite actress.

She won an Oscar for her role in “Annie Hall” and was nominated three other times for films: “Reds” (1981), “Marvin’s Room” (1996), and “Something’s Gotta Give” (2003). She continued acting after she was over seventy, including the films “Book Club” (2018) and “Bombs” (2019), and her last appearance was in “Summer Camp” (2024).

On a personal level, Keaton did not marry and adopted two sons, stressing in her interviews that she does not regret her life, and considers herself one of the rare women who participated in prominent films without getting married, and that she is not unhappy despite her celibacy. (Al Ain)
