Tara Emad is in control of Cairo Film Festival 46!

The Cairo International Film Festival announced the names of the members of the short film competition jury for its 46th session, which will be held from November 12 to 21, 2025.

This came during the festival’s press conference, which was held this afternoon, October 12, 2025, in a hotel overlooking the Nile in Cairo.

The short film competition jury consists of: actress Tara Emad – Egypt, director Pom Bonsermvicha – Thailand, director and writer Anas Sareen – Switzerland.

The Cairo International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals in the Arab world and Africa, and the only one in the region to hold a Category “A” rating from the International Federation of Film Producers (FIAPF) in Paris. The festival was established in 1976, and is held annually under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. (seventh day)
