Committee B"Federal National" Discusses government policy on traffic
DUBAI, 13th October, 2018 (WAM) – The Constitutional and Legislative Affairs, Appeals and Complaints Committee of the Federal National Council, during its virtual meeting held today, headed by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Eid Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Committee, continued to discuss the issue of the government’s policy regarding the safety and smooth flow of traffic.
The members of the committee participated in the meeting, His Excellency: Hashima Yasser Al-Afari, the rapporteur of the committee, Salem Bel-Rakad Al-Amiri, Majid Mohammed Al-Mazrouei, and Mudhahia Salem Al-Menhali, members of the Federal National Council.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed its draft report on the subject, and decided to invite representatives of relevant government agencies to its next meeting, to discuss the subject according to its axes, which include: developing smart infrastructure strategies to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, raising awareness of the mental and traffic cultural health of road users, and the effectiveness of legislation in reducing accidents and traffic congestion.
