"Expand North Star 2025" It highlights digital finance and investment in advanced technologies

Dubai, October 13 / WAM / The “Expand North Star” exhibition, whose activities are being held as part of GITEX Global’s activities, witnessed a wide turnout of visitors.
The global event provides attendees with the opportunity to explore the most prominent modern technological innovations, in addition to dialogue sessions, panel discussions, and keynote speeches that addressed pivotal topics such as digital finance, digital assets, emerging advanced technology markets, and other future issues.
The activities of the tenth edition of Expand North Star, which continues until October 15, will be held in Dubai Harbor over four days and includes 2,000 startup companies and more than 1,200 investors, with assets under management exceeding one trillion US dollars, making it the largest global platform that combines innovation and investment capital.
The Digital Assets Forum, which was held for the first time as part of the event, addressed institutional investment topics, including the symbolism of assets and their impact on enhancing liquidity for short-term investments, in addition to the role of capital dissemination in expanding the scope of comprehensive investment at the sector level.
Val Malinowski, founder and CEO of YPay, said during the keynote that digital assets are no longer a fringe experience, but rather a mainstay of the global financial systems, from institutional capital all the way to consumers.
A high-level panel discussion entitled “Deep Tech Prospects, Emerging Markets, and Untapped Sectors” discussed future developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, and climate technologies, and their role in facing the challenges of slow-growing markets and saturated sectors.
Speakers from major global technology companies such as NVIDIA, Samsung, and Honda participated in the episode, along with local venture capital experts, who highlighted the upcoming achievements that will reshape the features of global markets.
Wei Xiao, head of developer relations at NVIDIA, said that achieving the next transformation in the world of technology requires increased investment in deep technology within the startup ecosystem, which contributes to accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence.
While Song Sik Byun, President of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region at Samsung Venture Investment, stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between government-supported research centers and the private sector, because of its impact in accelerating the testing and application of new technologies such as quantum computing.
