The forum aims to review promising investment opportunities and inspiring entrepreneurial experiences, display pioneering products and services, support partnerships, develop skills, build entrepreneurial capabilities, and enhance the environment. Competitiveness among entrepreneurs, empowering the small and medium enterprises sector and highlighting its developmental role.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Ruzaiza, appreciated the patronage of His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Region for the forum, stressing that His Highness’s patronage always gives the Asharqia Chamber the great incentive to continue implementing its activities in support of economic development in the Eastern Region.
Al-Ruzaiza explained that the forum is a starting point towards supporting and empowering entrepreneurs, as RAD 25 provides the opportunity to meet a group of investors, financing bodies, government institutions, and entrepreneurs, within an interactive environment aimed at building communication and exploring promising investment opportunities that enhance the growth of the entrepreneurial sector in the Kingdom. The forum, in its eighth edition, seeks to expand its impact and enhance its national role through strategic directions that keep pace with the requirements of the next stage and are in line with… The objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 are to empower entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, by integrating entrepreneurial enterprises with major entities, supporting partnerships between the public and private sectors to accelerate the growth of enterprises, focusing on digital innovation and future skills, and creating financing solutions that suit the aspirations of enterprises, in addition to consolidating RAD’s role as a national platform that supports integration in entrepreneurship. Al-Ruzaiza said that the exhibition comes within the framework of affirming that the culture of production and self-employment has taken its place in the region and the entire Kingdom, and that self-employment has become an integral part of youth’s future choices and a haven for extracting their energies and exploring their talents, and that it represents a supportive platform for the growth and development of the fields of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom, by presenting successful experiences and pioneering ideas, explaining that this year’s edition focuses It focuses on innovative ideas in production and exploring market needs, as well as new ideas in promoting products and services offered by young people, and aims to present models of distinguished youth who are able to bear responsibility, pointing to the extent of the diversity in the participating companies and the projects of young male and female exhibitors between technology projects, services, industry and trade of all kinds.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition, in its seventh edition in the year 2023, It witnessed the participation of more than 300 male and female entrepreneurs, in the presence of more than 15,000 visitors. The Arab Republic of Egypt participated in the exhibition as a guest of honor, with approximately 40 companies managed by Egyptian entrepreneurs, which represented an added value to the exhibition due to the diversity of their facilities between education, culture, technology and others. Egyptian entrepreneurs presented many successful experiences in entrepreneurship that have become influential and spread regionally and globally.
