He stressed that direct health control over commercial establishments and centers for selling and trading food is crucial to ensuring food safety and protecting consumer health from any contamination or corruption.
Engineer Al-Jassim explained that the municipality will not be lax in implementing the regulatory procedures and requirements. The municipality also issued 129 health certificates to workers in the health sector, with the aim of achieving the highest standards of food safety. Food establishments, and disinfection and sterilization work was carried out, covering 200 different locations throughout the governorate.
The Mayor of Ras Tanura called on all citizens and residents to be active partners in community oversight, by cooperating with the municipality and immediately reporting any municipal violations monitored through the Unified Reports Center 940, to ensure they are quickly addressed and the necessary measures are taken.
