Apple launches new devices equipped with the most powerful M5 chip

On Wednesday, Apple unveiled a group of updates to its products, including an updated version of the MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and the second generation of the Vision Pro virtual reality glasses, as part of the company’s strategy to enhance its devices with the new M5 chip designed specifically for professionals in creative fields.
By integrating the M5 chip, Apple aims to counter the improvements offered by competing companies that use the latest chips directed at artificial intelligence applications from Qualcomm and Intel.
This step reflects Apple’s continuation of its approach of launching its most powerful chips first in the MacBook Pro and iPad Pro devices.
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro, equipped with the M5 chip, is a significant development compared to the M4 series chipset that was launched last year. The new chip is distinguished by its high speed and its ability to run advanced artificial intelligence applications more efficiently.
However, the prices of the newer devices remain unchanged from previous versions with the M4 chip.
The price of the MacBook Pro starts at $1,599 for the 14-inch version, while the price of the iPad Pro starts at $999, and the price of the second generation Vision Pro virtual reality glasses starts at $3,499.
Manufactured with advanced three-nm technology, the M5 chip is expected to improve performance and power efficiency in all devices.
