The Dubai Police robotic patrol begins its first mission in the Global Village

The autonomous robotic patrol DPR 02, affiliated with the Dubai Police General Command, began its first mission in the Global Village with the opening of its thirtieth season, after launching the patrol during activities at the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition held at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The robotic patrol roamed the corridors and squares of the Global Village, and contributed, through its artificial intelligence capabilities, to providing comprehensive field coverage that supported field police operations, especially since it moves autonomously and communicates directly with the operating rooms.

It is worth noting that the patrol is distinguished by the ability to enhance security coverage in vital areas and roads, and by autonomous transportation supported by artificial intelligence. It also features a 360-degree surveillance camera system and advanced sensor systems.

These patrols are also distinguished by their design that is compatible with monitoring and rapid response tasks, and their ability to rotate and maneuver in urban environments and open roads. They are part of a comprehensive vision to develop smart security systems and increase operational efficiency in Dubai Police.
