He added that the planet can be easily viewed with the naked eye from locations with clear skies, while binoculars and small telescopes reveal a more exciting scene represented by its four largest moons: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto, which appear as “small points of light” lined up next to it.

The president of the association explained that Jupiter It begins to appear after midnight, and gradually rises towards the southeastern horizon, reaching its highest point in the sky shortly before dawn.

He explained that this timing is ideal for following the planet or taking astronomical pictures of it, as the sky is clearer and cooler before sunrise, which allows a clearer view of its details.

He added that the planet can be seen even from within cities thanks to its high luminosity, while the use of a medium-sized telescope provides a unique opportunity to see its colorful gas belts, which are dense clouds in its massive atmosphere, in addition to the possibility of observing the Great Red Spot when the skies are clear.

He indicated that Jupiter during this period of the year takes a suitable location for night observation, as the Earth moves in Its orbit allows the planet to be seen at different times of the year.
