Abu Dhabi government launches a platform "Artificial intelligence in a box"

Dubai, October 16 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi government launched the “Artificial Intelligence in a Box” platform, which does not require writing code, to enable government employees to easily develop solutions based on artificial intelligence, and revealed major strategic partnerships in the field of clean energy with Google, in a step that supports its vision to be the first government in the world to rely entirely on artificial intelligence.

This came within the activities of the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion during the third day of the GITEX 2025 International Technology Exhibition, which is held at the Dubai World Trade Center, where the Abu Dhabi Government announced six strategic partnerships covering the fields of sustainable energy, education, training of government human resources, and digital infrastructure, which highlights the impact of cooperation between various sectors in accelerating the process of digital transformation in the emirate.

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al-Kattab, Chairman of the Department of Government Empowerment – Abu Dhabi, said: “We seek to generalize the use of artificial intelligence in various government sectors, ensuring digital inclusion for all employees who will soon possess the tools that enable them to build smart solutions that serve society. With our partnerships in the field of clean energy, we prove that sustainable innovation and digital transformation go hand in hand to achieve the future we aspire to in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”

The “Artificial Intelligence in a Box” initiative, in cooperation with the UnifyApps platform, aims to enable all Abu Dhabi government employees to design and deploy artificial intelligence applications without the need for programming experience, as the platform integrates with existing digital government systems, and will be applied in all government agencies in the second quarter of 2026, creating a qualitative shift in how government employees are presented. To support this initiative, the Department of Government Empowerment – Abu Dhabi announced new partnerships in the field of artificial intelligence skills with Amazon Web Services and Oracle to develop specialized training programs in the fields of cybersecurity and data management, within the “Ambition 2.0” learning and professional development platform.

The Department of Energy – Abu Dhabi revealed three new partnerships aimed at enhancing the digital transformation in the Abu Dhabi government towards full reliance on artificial intelligence, with a sustainable infrastructure that supports the efforts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, and enhances its advanced digital capabilities.

The “Tamm 4.0” platform announced the addition of two new categories of services, bringing the total offered by the platform to more than 1,100 integrated government and private services that can be accessed through a unified platform. By integrating Abu Dhabi Securities Market services, users can access their investment portfolios, view live market data, and manage national investor numbers directly through “Tamm,” eliminating the need to move between multiple platforms. Through its partnership with the Emirates Driving Company, the platform added comprehensive driving training services, including defensive driving courses, environmentally friendly driving, and off-road training to facilitate the entire learning journey, from registration until obtaining a driving license.

The partnerships announced during the third day at the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion are in line with the emirate’s vision of moving towards the first government that relies entirely on artificial intelligence, within a comprehensive, integrated approach that combines human resource empowerment, sustainable infrastructure, and smart services.

During the exhibition, the Abu Dhabi government will continue to unveil new innovations that highlight how artificial intelligence-based governance can deliver smarter, more responsive and sustainable services for everyone.
