Rashid Al Sharqi performs the rain prayer at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah
FUJAIRAH, 17th October, 2017 (WAM) – Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, performed the rain prayer at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the Emirate of Fujairah, in imitation of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” to perform the rain prayer in all mosques in the country.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi led the prayer alongside him, a number of senior officials and crowds of worshipers, including citizens and residents from the Arab and Islamic communities.
The Imam and the worshipers raised their palms of supplication to God Almighty to send rain as a mercy to the servants, to irrigate the servants and the country and to make the land grow, and to be a pleasant, sweet, beneficial rain that is not harmful, and to protect the ruler of our state and his fellow rulers and guide their steps to what He loves and is pleased with, and to have mercy on Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and the founding leaders, and to admit them, through His grace, to gardens of bliss.
