"Abu Dhabi Statistics" He releases "Clarification" And the fourth edition of "statement" during "GITEX Global 2025"

DUBAI, 17th October, 2020 (WAM) – The Statistics Center in Abu Dhabi announced the launch of the “Tebyan” platform and the fourth version of the “Bayan” platform during its participation in the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition, which concluded today, as part of its commitment to developing a statistical system fully enhanced with artificial intelligence that contributes to the implementation of the Abu Dhabi Digital Government Strategy 2025-2027, and supports its ambitious vision to become the first government to adopt… Completely focused on artificial intelligence in the world.

In its fourth edition, the Bayan platform continues to support more than 40 government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, through an advanced analytical and interactive system that allows users to make informed decisions faster and more accurately.

The platform, enhanced with artificial intelligence technologies, enables its users to interact with official statistics easily without the need for technical expertise, allowing them to simulate future policies and anticipate visions that support innovation and governance and improve the efficiency of planning and decision-making.

The fourth version, “Bayan 4.0,” also features in providing users with spatial statistics and precise geographic analyzes at the neighborhood and region levels, enabling decision makers to follow trends and analyze societal variables in the various regions of the emirate.

The integration between spatial data and social and economic indicators enhances the data-based urban planning approach and contributes to the development of government services based on the needs of the emirate’s community.

In continuation of the statistical integration efforts embodied in the fourth version of the “Bayan” platform, the Center launched the “Tebyan” platform, which is the first platform of its kind in the world that allows unification and governance of statistical production processes. It was designed based on the standard model for managing statistical operations that is internationally approved, enabling statistics producing entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to coordinate statistical work and ensure data quality. Its consistency and performance monitoring within an integrated data governance framework.

The features of the platform, which currently provides its services to 13 government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, include general frameworks for unifying procedures and precise mechanisms for monitoring performance, in addition to advanced solutions for verifying data quality, ensuring coordination of statistical work between entities producing statistics and adherence to the standards and methodologies of the Statistics Center – Abu Dhabi and international standards.

This system contributes to enhancing the reliability and credibility of official statistics, and consolidating Abu Dhabi’s global leadership in the fields of innovation and integrated statistical governance.

His Excellency Abdullah Ghareeb Al Qamzi, Director General of the Statistics Center in Abu Dhabi, said that the “Bayan” and “Tebyan” platforms embody the firm commitment to Abu Dhabi’s vision to build a pioneering government in the field of artificial intelligence that thinks with an enlightened digital mind, works with strategic insight, and makes its decisions with confidence based on data and knowledge.

He added that through the “Bayan” platform, data is transformed into ideas, and visions into decisions, while the “Tabyan” platform ensures that every statistical product is accurate, reliable, and serves the purpose for which it was prepared. Together, the two platforms form an integrated system that combines innovation and governance, and shapes the features of the smart future of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Her Excellency Badriya Abdullah Obaid, Executive Director of the Foresight and Communication Sector at the Centre, said that the “Bayan” platform, enhanced with artificial intelligence, embodies the responsible role of modern technologies in developing the decision-making process and moving it from the analysis stage to the forecasting and forecasting stage.

For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Haifa Ali Al-Hamdani, Executive Director of the Strategy and Planning Sector, said that the “Tebyan” platform sets a new global standard in the field of unification and production of official statistics, as it works to integrate methodologies and procedures between statistics producing entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

On the sidelines of the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition, the Center organized two workshops during which it reviewed its ongoing efforts to enhance statistical culture and expand the societal impact of data.
