"Moro" The Dubai Financial Audit Authority strengthens their cooperation in digital solutions
Dubai, October 19 / WAM / The Data Center for Integrated Solutions (Moro), affiliated with DEWA Digital, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Financial Regulatory Authority, to enhance cooperation in the fields of technology and sustainable digital solutions, in a way that supports the digital transformation process in Dubai.
The agreement was signed during the “GITEX Global 2025” activities, which concluded its activities the day before yesterday, in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Hareb, Director General of the Financial Regulatory Authority in Dubai, and it was signed on both sides by Engineer Marwan Salem bin Haider, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Digital Sector and CEO of “Digital DEWA”, and Amer Ali. Al Gergawi, Executive Director of the Institutional Support Sector at the agency.
His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer said that the partnership with the Dubai Financial Regulatory Authority confirms Moro’s commitment to empowering government agencies by providing an advanced, secure and future-ready digital infrastructure that supports Dubai’s vision of building a safe, sustainable and technology-supported future, noting that the memorandum of understanding aims to cooperate in key strategic axes that include shared hosting services, cloud computing, and cybersecurity solutions. Advanced, managed and professional services, as well as emerging technologies and digital innovation.
For his part, His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Hareb said that the memorandum of understanding paves the way for exploring advanced and innovative digital solutions that contribute to raising operational efficiency and enhancing the technical capabilities of the Financial Audit Authority, in a way that supports the joint vision of consolidating Dubai’s leadership position in the world in the field of advanced digital infrastructure and smart governance.
