"Hungarian" Discusses the process of social responsibility and sustainable impact plans in the Emirates

Dubai, October 19 / WAM / The Board of Trustees of the National Fund for Social Responsibility “Majra” discussed in its second meeting of 2025, headed by His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, Chairman of the Board, the latest developments in the Fund’s strategic performance indicators, the evaluation of the Community Impact Medal in its second session, and the Fund’s preparations for the November activities, which include the Impact Summit scheduled to be held next November 27 in Abu Dhabi.
The Council reviewed the ongoing preparations to hold the first session of the “Impact Summit” and the “Impact Council” as they are among the Fund’s basic strategic initiatives. The two events are scheduled to be held on November 27 and 28, 2025, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the participation of an elite group of leaders, decision-makers, and specialists in the field of social responsibility and sustainability, under the slogan “Empowering the Common Good of the House.”
His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq affirmed the Fund’s firm commitment to enhancing the culture of social responsibility in the UAE, and directing the efforts of the private sector towards projects that achieve a sustainable impact in line with national priorities, pointing out that empowering society, strengthening effective partnerships, and investing in knowledge and innovation, are the basic pillars for achieving sustainable development of social responsibility in the country and raising the quality of life.
He said that the “Impact Summit” will bring together leaders, decision-makers and experts under one roof to exchange experiences and develop innovative initiatives that advance UAE society and enhance the country’s competitive position on the global stage.

This summit is the result of a full year of efforts led by Majra to align private sector initiatives with the country’s national goals, and it embodies the Fund’s mission to empower the local community by promoting a culture of social responsibility, joint work between sectors, and activating national initiatives supported by the private sector.
Sarah Shaw, Executive Director of Majra, presented a summary of the Cognitive Empowerment Initiative, which aims to raise awareness about the sustainable impact of improving the quality of life, developing communities, and achieving sustainable development by empowering individuals and communities to make correct and considered decisions, improving individual and collective competencies and skills through education, training, and continuous development, and promoting innovation and developing scientific, technical, and innovative capabilities in the field. Communities.

The Fund’s Board of Trustees approved a strategic partnership with the Emirates Nature-WWF, which aims to empower Emirati youth in the field of environmental sustainability, within the framework of the Fund’s vision to consolidate a culture of social responsibility through knowledge and empowerment.
During the meeting, the efforts of the Emirates Committees for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, led by the chambers of commerce and industry in the emirates of the country, were highlighted through specific initiatives in partnership with the private sector that keep pace with the priorities of each emirate and support national integration in achieving sustainable impact.
